Jhené Aiko and rapper Big Sean have been together for years and have a child together, but when a social media follower slipped up and referred to Big Sean as her “husband,” she was quick to correct them.
“You and your husband are amazing people,” a fan wrote in response to Aiko’s social media post about losing her home to the Los Angeles wildfires.
“I don’t have a husband,” Aiko wrote back.
Last year, Big Sean opened up to Charlamagne Tha God about why he and his baby’s mother have not yet tied the knot.
“I feel like a lot of people get the idea of like, ‘Oh, you have to get married,’” Sean saidd. “But then it’s like, to me, that’s almost a fear-based way of thinking, too. Because then people be getting divorced. The divorce rate so f-cking high.”
Big Sean says that there is a lot of work that needs to be done in their relationship before they decide to walk down the aisle.
