Jodie Turner-Smith has filed paperwork in court alleging that her ex-husband, Joshua Jackson, has not paid child support in over a year.
The former couple welcomed their daughter, Juno Rose Diana, in April 2020 after getting married in 2019. They split in October 2023. Their daughter is now four years old.
Turner-Smith is asking for $8,543 per month beginning October 2023 in retroactive child support and $28,641 per month since October 2023 of spousal support.
“Josh promised to always support me and ensured me that I would not have to worry about financial security for our daughter if we ever separated because he said he understood how difficult life can be as a Black woman and a single mother,” Turner-Smith alleges the court documents.
Turner-Smith also claims that she just wants to be able to purchase a home in Los Angeles and support her daughter. She says that Jackson earns far more than her and is draining her assets by forcing her to engage in lengthy legal cases.
