Joe Budden responded forcefully after comedian Corey Holcomb publicly criticized him and accused him of being a woman-beater.
Budden addressed the situation during a recent broadcast, making it clear he had no interest in escalating things physically.
“You don’t fight well enough to do this with me. Like, we got video of you. You not smart enough, strong enough, big enough, fast enough to do none of this you talking about with me. We saw you when the homie asked you to walk outside and you stayed right there,” said Budden.

“Please keep my name out of your mouth,” Budden said, adding that he did not view his remarks as a threat. “I would not plan on doing anything when I see you.”
Budden pushed back against Holcomb’s comments by questioning his credibility and recent behavior, referencing a prior on air moment where Holcomb declined to step outside during a confrontation. “We saw you asked to walk outside and you stayed right there,” Budden said. “You do not fight well enough to do any of this.”
The exchange followed renewed scrutiny on Holcomb after TMZ released footage showing an altercation between him and fellow comedian Christina Payne. Budden had previously reacted to the video on his podcast, which sparked Holcomb’s response.

Budden went on to criticize Holcomb’s career trajectory, saying, “Your fall should be studied,” while insisting he had no desire for a back-and-forth exchange. “I was shocked you still had a voice,” he said.
Holcomb later addressed the controversy on his own show, signaling he was not backing down.
