Podcaster Joe Rogan has weighed in on Blake Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds’ lawsuit against Justin Baldoni, claiming that the couple “ruined their reputation” by suing Baldoni.
Baldoni filed a massive lawsuit against Lively and Reynolds for civil extortion, defamation, and more. His lawsuit is for $400 million.
The lawsuit came after Lively sued the actor for sexual harassment, retaliation, and more. She claimed the actor launched a smear campaign to make her look back during the movie rollout.
Joe Rogan discussing the Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni lawsuit.
“They were trying to take over the movie (Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively) and the whole franchise (from Justin Baldoni). The whole thing is crazy – he’s suing the NYTimes.”

“They f–-ked up,” Rogan said. “Ryan’s trying to get out of it now. He’s trying to get out of the lawsuit, and they’re like, ‘You are a key part of this.’”
Since the lawsuit has been filed, it has been revealed that Lively only accepts projects where she can take over the movie’s direction. Rogan says that choosing to target Baldoni is a bad look for the A-list couple.
“Especially, a guy like that who’s, like, known for being really sweet, nice guy and then he’s, like, ‘Alright, enough,’” Rogan said.
In Lively’s lawsuit, the actress shared text messages seeming to show Baldoni being inappropriate on set. Baldoni fired back with receipts, apparently proving that Lively intentionally misrepresented the messages.
The lawsuits are ongoing.
