A man has regained his freedom, 10 years after being arrested at his friend’s place where he went to charge his laptop.
The news was shared by a netizen identified as @Ayodejixon who revealed this on the microblogging platform, X.
It was gathered that the man known as Junior had gone to his friend’s place to charge his laptop 10 years ago, when police raided the place and branded him a criminal.
He had been jailed since 2014 awaiting trial until he was finally freed in 2024.
