Henry Okoye, the elder brother of defunct music group Psquare, has opened up on his brothers’ soured relationship.
In a video making rounds on social media, Henry, in an interview, claimed that he financially supported and sponsored the now-defunct music group during its formative years. He said that during those years when Psquare was struggling to make it, Jude was nowhere, but came suddenly when they made it and became their manager.
Henry said Paul used to be the kindest one out of the brothers, but changed overnight. He blamed Jude for Paul’s changed behaviour, which he said wasn’t normal.
The singers’ elder brother recalled how Jude stopped them from paying him the 20% they promised, describing Jude as a bad and wicked person.
He alleged that their late mother was opposed to him managing the twins because she knew Jude’s character. He said it feels like Jude used charm on Paul, as Psquare no longer speaks to the rest of the family.
Henry said they are eight in the family, and their lastborn is in Lagos suffering, and Jude and Paul don’t care about her.
Kemi Filani reported hours ago that Peter in his final tell-all series, accused his late mother and siblings of maltreating his wife when she was pregnant. He recalled how his late mother had pressured Lola to leave him alone, and how his brothers insisted that Lola abort the baby and even forged an email to frame her.
Paul, responded to his claims noting how she can’t defend herself. He told her to keep resting.
Confirming Peter’s claims, author, Mervis Elebe, who had a close relationship with them, said the family strongly opposed Lola, primarily because she was older and of Yoruba origin. She added that the family’s opposition was obvious even to her as a teenager and said Jude can’t deny it.
For almost a week, Peter was on a tell-all series on his fallout with his brothers.
In the first part of the tell-all, he accused his twin of always trying to pull him down. He noted how Paul is always throwing shades at him, saying he is done being the nice guy and is ready for aura for aura”.
In his second part, he claimed his twin said they would take 35%, while their brother would take 30%. He questioned why their brother must manage them, noting how before Jude, they’d had three managers.
In the third part of his tell-all series, Peter alleged that he discovered he was no longer a signatory to Northside Entertainment’s bank account while trying to obtain the company’s statement of account.
Peter, released the fifth part of his tell-all series, making fresh allegations of Jude threatening to shoot him during a disagreement over the ownership of a property in the United States after he questioned plans to sell it.
He released the sixth part, disclosing that they served him a letter asking him to stop performing Psquare’s songs and alleging that they bought two mansions behind his back.
In part 7, Mr P accused his brothers of stealing $3.2 million in 2013 from their Forex account. He said the betrayal wasn’t the hardest part, but the backstabbing was because of who it came from.
Recall that in 2023, Psquare had fallen out again because of the joint funds being diverted by their elder brother, Jude Okoye.
