Former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, is set to speak publicly for the first time since leaving office in May 2023.
The former governor will appear as a guest on Arise TV’s Prime Time Live program scheduled for 8:00 pm today.
El-Rufai a recent critic of President Bola Tinubu’s administration confirmed the interview himself through a post on his official X (formerly Twitter) account.
In his message, he wrote, “This is to inform everyone on my timeline that I have accepted an invitation to be a guest on ARISE TV Prime Time live programme scheduled for 8 pm.
“My media team has observed that this will be the first interview I am granting to any media organization since I left public office on 29th May 2023. Please tune in if interested.”
El-Rufai is alleged to be building opposition against Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.
