The Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun, has returned to Nigeria after days of speculation about his health and whereabouts.
Edun was sighted on Sunday in Abuja, attending an official business event organised by a government corporation.
The engagement, which hosted a foreign investment delegation, formed part of ongoing efforts to attract international partnerships and strengthen Nigeria’s economic outlook.
The minister was earlier reported to be “indisposed,” with subsequent reports suggesting that he had travelled to the United Kingdom.
However, his public appearance in Abuja confirmed that he has resumed official duties.
Edun was seen interacting with delegates and senior government officials at the event, signalling his return to active service.
