The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Wednesday officially recognised the leadership of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) under former Senate President David Mark.
This recognition comes after a period of internal restructuring within the party, which led to the appointment of new national officers tasked with repositioning the ADC for upcoming electoral challenges.
In addition to David Mark, INEC also acknowledged several other key officials: Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola as National Secretary, Dr. Ibrahim Mani as National Treasurer, Akibu Dalhatu as National Financial Secretary, and Professor Oserheimen Aigberaodion Osunbor as National Legal Adviser.
With this formal recognition, the new ADC leadership is expected to launch a nationwide reconciliation and mobilisation initiative, aimed at strengthening the party’s structure and support base in preparation for the 2027 general elections.
