The newly installed Owa-Obokun of Ijesaland, Oba Clement Adesuyi Haastrup, has lost his mobile phone to thieves.

The monarch made the announcement through a post on his official Facebook page on Thursday, alerting the public to disregard any communication from the stolen device.

According to ..., the stolen phone is a Techno Pova 4, which was being used with the WhatsApp number 08093296643.

Oba Haastrup warned that any messages or chats originating from the number should be ignored, as they are no longer from him.

..., written in a tone of frustration, read, “Warning! My Techno ‘Pova 4’ phone with the WhatsApp number 08093296643 has been stolen, please ignore any chat from it.”

Oba Haastrup, a respected journalist and publisher, was recently appointed the Owa-Obokun of Ijesaland following the passing of the previous rule.

His coronation ceremony is scheduled to hold in Ilesa tomorrow, attracting dignitaries, traditional rulers, and well-wishers from across Nigeria and Overseas.
