Juventus have reopened talks with Napoli over the potential signing of Victor Osimhen as the Serie A giants prepare to reinforce their squad ahead of the 2025/26 season, Footynaija.com reports.

The Bianconeri, who have not lifted the Scudetto since 2020, are eager to challenge for domestic honours once again under manager Igor Tudor. The Croatian coach is reportedly seeking at least three marquee signings, with Nigerian international Osimhen at the top of his wishlist.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport via football-italia, Juventus made an initial approach for the 26-year-old striker which was rejected, but have now returned to the table.

However, negotiations remain complicated by a key clause in Osimhen’s contract — his €75 million release clause only applies to clubs outside Italy. Napoli are understood to be demanding at least €80 million from Juventus for their talisman, who is also attracting interests from Manchester United and Liverpool.

Osimhen, who helped Napoli win their first Serie A title in over three decades last year, is also being courted by Saudi giants Al-Hilal.

The Nigerian forward previously turned down a €30 million-per-year deal, but reports claim Al-Hilal have upped their offer to €50 million annually in a renewed push.

Juventus are also monitoring Viktor Gyökeres and Santiago Castro as backup options.
