Kai Cenat is one of the biggest streamers in the world, but the young influencer recently revealed that he turned down the opportunity to attend the MET Gala.
“I had an opportunity to go to the Met Gala, chat but, I didn’t go because I’m not gonna lie, the brand that wanted to host me… I didn’t really, like, wanna do that brand,” he said on livestream.
Cenat did not say which brand wanted to host him, but the theme for the prestigious event was “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.” This year’s co-chairs include Anna Wintour, Pharrell Williams, ASAP Rocky, Lewis Hamilton, and Colman Domingo.
While brands host some celebrities, other celebrities pay $75,000, which Cenat could easily afford. The streamer is reportedly worth $14 million.
Kai Cenat has become one of the biggest names in streaming. His live streams have included many celebrities, including Kevin Hart, Druski, Nicki Minaj, Ice Spice, and, more recently, Vybz Kartel.
