Kandi Burruss is accusing her estranged husband, Todd Tucker, of falling short when it comes to parenting time and financial support for their children amid their ongoing divorce.
According to court documents, Kandi filed a motion on January 8 requesting a formal hearing to determine child support and custody arrangements.
Kandi, 49, and Todd, 52, share two children, Ace and Blaze. In her filing, the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star claims their kids have “significant monthly expenses” including childcare, tuition, medical care, travel, and extracurricular activities, costs she says she has been covering alone.
She alleges Todd has not meaningfully contributed to their support, despite being a self-employed entrepreneur capable of doing so.
Kandi also took aim at Todd’s public image as a hands-on father. “Tucker does not exercise parenting time with the minor children on a significant basis despite the façade of his two to three-minute social media videos chronicling his ‘Daddy Daycare,’” she stated in the filing. Kandi further claimed Todd interfered with her custody time during the Christmas holiday by attempting to block the children from traveling to New York to see her.
A judge has not yet ruled on the custody or support requests.
