Bianca Censori is opening up about the early days of her relationship with Kanye West, including a timeline that overlaps with his marriage to Kim Kardashian.
In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Censori revealed that Ye first reached out while he was still married. She said the initial contact came after the rapper noticed her Instagram post featuring what she described as a “digital mask with alien proportions.” According to Censori, his general manager contacted her shortly after.
The two later met in Switzerland during the COVID-19 pandemic, where Censori went on to work as the head of architecture for Yeezy. She said their bond grew naturally through constant collaboration. “You’re spending so much time with somebody,” she explained. “We’d be either on the phone together or with each other all the time.”
Censori added that their connection felt inevitable. “You’ve got to see it,” she said. “We’re so similar.”
Kardashian filed for divorce in early 2021, and Censori acknowledged that her relationship with West deepened around that same period. The couple eventually married in December 2022.
Addressing speculation about her motives, Censori was clear. “I didn’t marry my husband because I wanted some sort of platform,” she said. “I married him because I love him.”
She also spoke emotionally about standing by West through recent controversies. “All I can do is be there and help,” Censori said. “I have the love and empathy to do that.”
