Kanye West still has issues with Taylor Swift and after going on a bizarre rant about her attending the Super Bowl, he deactivated his account on X.
“IF ITS ABOUT THE CULTURE … WHY ARE WE LETTING TAYLOR SWIFT BE SEEN ON TV SINGING A SONG ABOUT TAKING A BLACK MAN DOWN AND ACCUSING OF THINGS THAT CAN TAKE A BLACK MAN DOWN FOR LIFE,” he said referring to Kendrick Lamar’s performance of the Drake diss track, “Not Like Us.”
Ye has posted several hateful tweets on social media this month, taking aim at the Jewish community.
His account was not suspended by X owner, Elon Musk.
Ye deactivated his account of his own accord.
“I’m logging out of Twitter. I appreciate Elon for allowing me to vent. It has been very cathartic to use the world as a sounding board,” he wrote after his rant. “It was like an Ayahuasca trip. Love all of you who gave me your energy and attention. [Until] we connect again. Good afternoon and good night.”
