Kim Kardashian is getting brutally honest about her early days in the spotlight and how far she was willing to go to get noticed.
During a recent episode of Khloé in Wonder Land, Kim admitted she once staged paparazzi moments and even pretended to visit Britney Spears to land headlines.
“You knew where the paparazzi were,” Kim told sister Khloé Kardashian. “So you would just go to them.” Laughing, she owned the moment fully. “Totally. It was all I wanted. I lived for it.”
Kim recalled a night in New York when she and a friend heard Britney was staying at a hotel swarming with photographers. They hitched a ride in a Rolls Royce to look important and stepped out where cameras were waiting.
“They’re like, ‘Kim! Are you here to visit Britney?’” she said. Unsure what to do next, the pair hid inside a phone booth. “We’re hanging there for like 20 minutes,” Kim said. When they finally left, photographers shouted, “How was Britney?” The photos ended up everywhere. “We scammed the system,” Kim admitted.
