The family of Atlanta rapper T-Hood has retained legal representation following the release of an autopsy report that revealed he was shot multiple times before his death.

T-Hood, whose real name was Tevin Hood, 33, was found dead inside a home on Lee Road in Snellville on August 9. Four days later, Gwinnett County police said the case was being investigated as a possible self-defense incident.

Authorities also confirmed that 24-year-old Ky Frost, the son of “Love and Hip Hop” stars Rasheeda and Kirk Frost, was involved, though he has not been named a suspect.

Early reports revealed that T-Hood and Frost’s daughter, Kelsie, was involved in an altercation shortly before his death. Then, not long after news of the rapper’s killing broke, T Hood’s sister jumped on social media, alleging that after the domestic incident, Kelsie, also known as “Kae,” may have called her brothers and that they were somehow involved in T-Hood’s death.

Graphic footage was released online showing Kae being violently assaulted by the rapper. Despite him being almost twice her size, T-Hood’s sister claimed that Kae was the aggressor.

The Gwinnett County Medical Examiner’s Office ruled Hood’s death a homicide, saying he suffered six gunshot wounds to his back legs, upper back, abdomen, lower back, and one front leg.

The family’s attorney issued a statement following the autopsy’s findings, calling attention to the nature of the shooting. Police have not released any new updates in the case.
