Kodak Black’s attorney has responded to a viral video of the rapper drinking lean and says it was all just a prank.
“Sippin’ that drank raw,” Yak says in the short clip, which left fans concerned about his well-being.
However, speaking to TMZ, Yak’s attorney, Bradford Cohen, says the bottle was just a prank and that it was just “juice” in his cup.

Yak’s ongoing battle with addiction has been highly documented. In November 2024, the Florida rapper candidly admitted during an Instagram Live session that he was “never sober.”
“B—h, I ain’t sober. I look sober? I’m never sober, b—h,” he told his fans. “For what? For what? Look at this money. Look at all this cash. Sober for what? I’m too young to die sober.”
Just months prior, he vowed never to perform his hit song “Super Gremlin” again because he was trying to get clean.
“I’m about to stop performing ‘Super Gremlin,’ period,” he said via livestream. “I hate that lil’ s–t. I’m sober for the most part and I say this, like, around my people them so they know… that [it’s] serious. I could talk about it now. You feel me? For the most part bro I be sober, brother.”
Earlier this year, he went viral for claiming that he had a “meth habit” during a freestyle.
