Kwara Governor sacks Deputy Chief of Staff, PPS, other aides

Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has relieved all Special Advisers, Senior Special Assistants, and Special Assistants of their appointments.

This development was announced in a statement issued in Ilorin on Monday by the Deputy Chief Press Secretary to the Government House, Mr. Mashood Agboola.

He disclosed that the minor cabinet shake-up also affected the Deputy Chief of Staff and the Principal Private Secretary (PPS) to the Governor.

According to the statement, the decision is aimed at extending opportunities to more party members and injecting fresh energy into the administration.

Governor AbdulRazaq expressed his profound gratitude to all the affected appointees for their priceless service to the state and wished them the very best in their future endeavors.

Meanwhile, the Governor has directed all the affected officials to immediately hand over all government properties in their custody to the Office of the Secretary to the State Government.
