The son of the Oniwo of Afin, Oba Simeon Olanipekun, abducted by gunmen in the Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State, has regained his freedom after a N20 million ransom was paid to his captors.
The victim, identified as Olaolu, a serving member of the National Youth Service Corps, was released on Monday, while his father and other abductees remain in captivity.
According to Punch, the prince was freed after intense negotiations with the kidnappers.
