According To Our Reporter, Furaha (not her real name) from the Democratic Republic of Congo shared a heart-wrenching story of anger, betrayal, and regret.
After her mother divorced her biological father when Furaha was six, she was raised by her mother and a stepfather she despised. The stepfather was cruel and crossed boundaries, but when Furaha reported him, her mother refused to believe her.
At 12, driven by hurt and revenge for her mother’s rejection of her real father, Furaha agreed to meet the stepfather and slept with him, deliberately exposing their secret to her mother through text messages.
Her mother, enraged, kicked her out and later divorced the stepfather. Despite efforts by pastors to mend their relationship, forgiveness remains distant. Furaha now deeply regrets her choice and pleads for her mother’s mercy.
