A three-storey building collapsed early this morning on Lagos Island, leaving several occupants injured.
The incident occurred on Asesi Lane, near Adeniji Adele Road, and caught residents by surprise as the structure gave way overnight.
According to Lagos State Commissioner for Information, Gbenga Omotoso, four individuals were rescued from the rubble and have been taken to the hospital for treatment.
He shared the update via a Facebook post.
Emergency personnel from the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) and other relevant agencies swiftly arrived at the scene to carry out rescue operations.
