Rotarian Lanre Adedoyin has been installed as the District Governor of Rotary International District 9112 in a grand ceremony that promises to blend elegance, celebration, and Rotary values. The installation ceremony, which marks the beginning of Adedoyin’s Rotary year from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026, was attended by Rotarians, dignitaries, family members, and guests.

Adedoyin’s vision for his tenure is built around unity, engagement, and meaningful service delivery. “My goal this year is to unite hearts and actions for meaningful service,” he stated ahead of the event. As Governor, Adedoyin aims to unify clubs across the district and inspire a service culture that is both inclusive and enduring.

The ceremony featured a guest speaker, Alhaji Ahmed Raji, SAN, a prominent legal luminary and public affairs advocate, who also happens to be Adedoyin’s classmate at the University of Lagos. The event also included musical entertainment by Trinity Band and a festive atmosphere with food, drinks, and a vibrant after-party.

Adedoyin’s leadership is expected to bring stability and visibility to the freshly formed District 9112. With his dedication and strategic leadership, the district is poised to deepen its outreach and strengthen collaboration among clubs, ultimately making a lasting impact in the lives of people across the region. The installation ceremony took place on July 5, 2025, at the Victoria Garden Event Centre in Lagos.
