The Google Pixel 9 series will become official later today. Four phones are coming, including Google’s second-gen foldable. Speaking of which, the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold’s official case just surfaced in a last-minute leak, showing the case in two colors.
The Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold case gets shown in two colors
The phone itself will arrive in Obsidian (black) and Porcelain (white) colors. The case itself will also be available in those colors. Additional colors may launch, but this leak confirms that these two are a sure thing.
If you take a look at the gallery below, you’ll get to see the two colors of the phone color-matched with Google’s official cases. This is the same case that Google will offer for other Pixel phones, but adapted to this foldable, of course.
The case is shown from the back, and from the right side. This is likely a silicone case, as was in years prior to this. You can clearly see that there is a cutout for the physical buttons on the right side. The displays seem to be protected here, as are the rear cameras. We still don’t know how much will this case cost.
This phone will be considerably different than the first-gen model
The Pixel 9 Pro Fold will be considerably different than the Pixel Fold, in terms of the design. Google is changing up the aspect ratio completely, to be more in line with the competition in the book-style foldable space.
You’ll also notice that the rear camera island looks entirely different compared to last year. The Pixel 9 Pro Fold will be fueled by the Google Tensor G4. It will have really compelling specs in general.
16GB of RAM is expected on this phone, while several storage options will also be available. The phone is expected to support both wired and wireless charging. You can expect to get plenty of AI features on this phone. That is the case for the entire Pixel 9 series, though.
