THE family announces burial plans for singer Ifunanya Nwangene, known as Nanyah, who died after a snake bite in Abuja.
She passed away on January 31, 2026, after being bitten by a snake in her home, and she later succumbed following rejection from two hospitals without anti-venom.
Her brother, Kingsley Nwangene, posted the obituary and burial details on Instagram @official_kaybaba1, along with a tribute saying, “Till I see you again.” ... received condolences from fans, friends, and fellow musicians.
The family will hold a service of songs on February 10, 2026, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Abule Oshun, Dansa, Lagos, starting at 4:00 p.m., followed by a Requiem Mass at 6:00 p.m.
Nanyah’s burial is scheduled for her hometown in Enugu on February 14, 2026, with a thanksgiving service the next day.
