Accounting Officer (Auto-Parts Retailer)

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate cash registers accurately and efficiently to process customer transactions.
- Update internal systems with financial data
- Assist in maintaining accurate and complete financial records for all sales transactions
- Prepare financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements, invoices, and other documents.
- Work with bookkeeping software.
- Compile and analyze data.
- Take on additional tasks or projects to learn more about the Finance department and office operations.
- Participate in financial audits
- Review and implement financial policies
- Resolve financial disputes raised by the customer service and sales teams
- And perform all other duties as assigned by management
Key Requirements:
- OND in Accounting from a reputable academic institution
- Pre/Post-NYSC experience in an accounting or financial booking-keeping role
- Solid knowledge of financial and accounting principles and procedures
- Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data
- Proficiency with Microsoft suite.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility.
- Highly motivated and have a strong desire to take on new challenges and learn as much as possible
