Job Description
- The HR & Admin Manager is responsible for the day-to-day administration and operation of the HR functions and duties in PH Base.
- Management of the day-to-day efficient HR & Admin operation in PH Base.
- Recruitment and staffing logistics.
- Conduct employee training and orientation, administer benefits program, analyze compensation and other competitive data and prepare budgets.
- Responsible for collecting and analyzing employee data and maintaining accurate and complete employee records.
- Promoting healthy relationships between staff and management through mediation, handling labour disputes and guiding department managers through employee issues.
- Responsible for performance management and improvement systems;
- Ensure compliance to regulatory concerns regarding employees;
- Responsible for policy development and documentation;
- Ensure employee safety, welfare, wellness and health;
- Development of processes and metrics that support the achievement of the organization’s business goals.
- Development of an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, key employee retention and development, and high performance.
- Performance management and improvement of tracking systems;
- Maintaining the HR filing system;
- Process, verify, and maintain documentation relating to personnel activities such as staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, and classifications.
- Record data for each employee, including such information as addresses, absences, supervisory reports on performance, and dates of and reasons for terminations.
- Process and review employment applications in order to evaluate qualifications or eligibility of applicants.
- Answer questions regarding examinations, eligibility, salaries, benefits, and other relevant information.
- Respond to employee inquires in a timely manner.
- Follow-up when answers are not immediately available and elevate requests to the appropriate individuals as required.
- Perform other duties and participate in projects as assigned.
Requirements
- B.Sc. or equivalent in related field required
- Membership of a relevant professional body e.g. CIPM
- Master’s Degree in related area will be an added advantage
- 3 – 8 years work experience.
