Job Description

To create a safe and stimulating environment for children.

Plans meals, prepares food and feeds children.

You are expected to engage children in age-appropriate activities and encourage intellectual development.

Teaches and supervises daily living skills.

Monitors behaviour for irregularities in health and well-being as well as physical, emotional, and mental development.

Meetwith parents regularly to assess child behaviour and to plan activities.

Job Requirements

Minimum of 2 years experience in a childcare setting.

A minimum of an OND academic qualification or equivalent.

Motivated and professional in conduct.

A passion for working with children.

Understands child psychology and stages of development.

Positive discipline skills for correcting undesired behaviour.
