Description
- We are seeking a qualified Plant Mechanic for a reputable Construction company in Nigeria.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of plant equipment used in the operations of the Construction company.
- The successful candidate will work closely with the operational team to ensure that plant equipment is regularly maintained and serviced accordingly.
Responsibilities
- Conducting regular inspections and preventive maintenance of plant equipment.
- Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing plant equipment faults.
- Sourcing and ordering parts required for repairs and maintenance of plant equipment.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and guidelines for the operation of plant equipment.
- Performing scheduled maintenance activities on a variety of plant equipment.
- Designing and implementing maintenance programs for plant equipment in compliance with manufacturer’s requirements.
- Preparing reports and maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 4 years’ experience in maintenance and repair of plant equipment.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of plant equipment maintenance procedures and techniques.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant certifications in plant equipment maintenance.
