“For a few years now, my family has always spent Christmas in America. This year, we made a conscious effort to make their Christmas very white by going to a snowy mountain in Colorado. Can’t wait to show y’all everything we get to experience.
When people often ask why I’m leaving Nigeria during the festive period, when people abroad are coming back home, I tell them that there are very few fun places or experiences for children in December. Everything in Naija is a party, concerts, and fashion shows – how many can I take my kids to? How many concerts are kids allowed to attend? How many amusement parks or Christmas villages are there for kids? I want to have fun but at the same time see my kids have fun and experience Christmas in a Christmas way”.
