A female lawyer, Stella Justice, has raised alarm after her picture was circulated in a WhatsApp group falsely advertising her as seeking a serious relationship.

The group post used her image and claimed she was working with the federal government while demanding five thousand naira as a connection fee from interested men.

The lawyer described the claim as completely false, stressing that she is happily married and not in search of a relationship.

She expressed displeasure that her identity was being misused to defraud unsuspecting people.

She also appealed to the public to report the fraudulent post whenever they come across it to help protect her reputation.

She wrote: “This is so unfair and I’m not happy about it.Dear friends, I need your urgent help.

“My picture has been posted in a WhatsApp group with false information, claiming that I’m looking for a serious relationship.

“The lady was even requesting 5000 naira for connection fee from people. This is completely untrue, as I am happily married.

“Please, if you come across this, kindly report it and help me protect my identity and reputation.Your support means a lot to me.”
