Ahead of Lazio’s home clash tonight, Baroni revealed Dele-Bashiru is still in pain after suffering an ankle injury against Venezia.
“Castellanos is fine and will be in the game. In any case, I will make some assessments together with him. We will reflect on Nino Tavares, while Dele-Bashiru still has some pain in his ankle, and I will have a chat with him too,” the 61-year-old Italian manager said in quotes revealed by Alfredo Pedulla.
Dele-Bashiru has been in decent form for Lazio this season, scoring five goals and providing two assists in 23 games across all competitions.
The Manchester City Academy Graduate was a part of Eric Chelle’s 39-man provisional squad list ahead of Super Eagles 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers against Rwanda and Zimbabwe. However, he didn’t make the final 23-man list.
