Young Thug is trending online once again after newly leaked bodycam footage from the rapper’s time behind bars shows him being assisted by officers while using a walker, moments before he’s taken for medical care.
In the clip, Thugger can be heard describing how he got hurt.
According to the footage, he believes he sprained his ankle after a confrontation with two officers.
“One of them picked me up and slammed me,” he says, adding that another officer allegedly “threw me over his shoulder and dragged me.”
The video is the latest in a string of leaks from Thug’s incarceration.
Earlier this year, multiple recorded phone calls from jail made headlines after revealing private conversations about fellow artists, including Drake, Future, Lil Durk, Kendrick Lamar and GloRilla. He was also heard bragging about cheating on his long-suffering girlfriend, Mariah The Scientist, who reportedly walked away from him after the leaked calls.
Following the leaks, the rapper issued a public apology in his album track, “I Miss My Dogs.”
