Nollywood actress Funke Akindele has shunned naysayers with her new social media post.
Funke Akindele took to Instagram to share a video of herself and a few of her Everybody Loves Jenifa cast, including Bisola Aiyeola, Layi Wasabi and Omotunde Adebowale David, in the United Kingdom for the premiere of the film in December.
The highest-grossing billionaire actor stated that life is too short to let worries bring you down. She urged her followers to concentrate on the good, stay positive and spread love wherever they are.
Akindele told them about the best accessories: smiling, looking good and feeling good.
“Life is too short to let worries get us down! Let’s focus on the good, stay positive, and spread love and joy wherever we go! And remember, when we smile, we look good and feel good – and that’s the best accessory of all! So, go catch #EverybodyLovesJenifa in cinemas nationwide, and let’s keep the positivity going!”
Kemi Filani recalls that in Late 2023, reports made rounds that Funke Akindele and Tobi Makinde are no longer on good terms as the former was trying to allegedly hold down the latter from exploring his talent with other fields.
Mixed reactions trailed the development when many noticed that the duo had not been goofy on each other’s page for a while. But recently, Tobi Makinde showered the box office smasher with accolades.
Makinde debunked the rumours that Funke Akindele doesn’t treat her workers right, saying that he wouldn’t have been where he is without the actress’s love, training and tutelage.
Speaking from experience, he stated that the movie star has been so kind to him, and her love for him is not something he will forget in a hurry.
It should be noted that Tobi Makinde and Funke Akindele run back as far as the early seasons of Jenifa’s Diary where the former acted as Funke’s Personal Assistant till the last available episode.
