Lil Durk is speaking out from behind bars and posted a cryptic Instagram Story from jail.
The image featured a black background and a single line. “Crazy how you gotta wait until it’s dark out to see who really with you,” Durk wrote, fueling speculation about loyalty and betrayal.

The ominous post landed just as Durk caught a major break in court. His highly anticipated murder for hire trial, originally scheduled to begin January 20, has officially been delayed. Legal affairs reporter Meghann Cuniff confirmed the new start date will fall in late April, with the judge setting it for April 21 or April 28 and rejecting reports that May 4 had been approved.

Several of Durk’s codefendants have also pushed for more time, while his legal team fought to move forward sooner. Durk also tried to separate his case from the others, but the judge denied his request, meaning all defendants will face trial together.
Durk was arrested in October 2024, allegedly while trying to flee the country, and charged in an alleged plot involving Quando Rondo, stemming from the 2020 killing of King Von. He has denied all allegations.
