Results have started pouring in from the highly contested Edo State Governorship election held across the South-south State yesterday.

Naijaonpoint reports that residents trooped out en-masse to exercise their franchise across the three major zones in the state – Edo South, Central and North.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is officially declaring from local government.

PDP, APC and Labour Party supporters are eagerly waiting on the electoral umpire to declare the winner.

According to the result announced at Ward 1 unit 3, Okaigben Ewohim, Ighodalo polled 200 votes, while APC trailed with 45 votes.
