Missouri City, Texas (KTRK) – A natural gas leak in the Lexington Colony area Monday afternoon closed some streets, according to officials.

Missouri City officials posted on Twitter about the gas leak at 12:44 p.m
As a result of the leak, streets near Lexington Boulevard were closed on Lorraine Boulevard.
Drivers can expect street closures to remain closed for three to four hours as CenterPoint Energy crews work to fix the reported gas leak. Officials are urging commuters to look for alternate routes if they are traveling in the area.
There were no reports of evacuations or injuries.
