Love Is Blind star Tim Godbee has ended his engagement to Alexandra Byrd after the couple met with his parents.
Tim and Alex got into a heated argument…but viewers of the current season will know that the couple had almost called it quits once before after an off-camera argument caused Tim to second-guess his engagement to hot-tempered Alex.
While meeting his parents, Alex decided to take a nap… even though his parents drove 10 hours just to meet her.
Tim told Alex that while he understood that she was sleepy, there was simply no excuse.
“Some things happened in regards to my parents that I didn’t really appreciate,” said Tim. “I understood you were sleepy but my parents drove 10 hours here to meet you. As soon as the cameras cut, you decided to go to sleep at the first opportunity. These are the most important people in my life, and all I have left in this world, and the choice you made in that moment was to go to sleep.”
Alex claimed she was “exhausted” and that she likes to take naps. She explained that they had been talking for hours and that if she knew how much the meeting had meant to him she would have “stayed up.”
“There’s a lot I could respond to, but there is no scenario that I see myself standing there and saying yes to making you my wife forever. And with that in mind, and I’m glad that we can at least agree, that I don’t ever want to see you again,” Tim told Alex.
