Former Super Eagles and Chelsea wing-back, Victor Moses, has parted ways with EFL Championship side, Luton Town, following their demotion, Soccernet.ng reports.

The 34-year-old joined The Hatters from Spartak Moscow on a free deal at the start of the season as Luton had just been demoted from the English Premier League.

Moses’ spell with Matt Bloomfield side wasn’t the most pleasant as they suffered relegation for two consecutive seasons, and will now play in the EFL League One next campaign.

As a result of their demotion, Luton’s official website reported that there’ll be no renewal for Victor Moses, Tim Krul and several first team players, bringing the ex-Crystal Palace’s man one-year stint at Kenilworth Road to an end.

“First team squad players also departing include goalkeepers Tim Krul and Jameson Horlick and winger Victor Moses upon natural expiry of their contracts. Josh Bowler will return to his parent club, Nottingham Forest, after his short loan spell. Kal Naismith’s half-season loan comes to an end and also returns to his parent club, temporarily, to see out the remainder of his contract in Bristol.

“We would like to thank Kal, Tim, Victor, Jameson and Josh immensely for their contribution to the Club this season and wish them well for their future careers,” the club’s official website read.
