The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is on its way, and its main camera has just been spotted online. It has been spotted in a Camera FV-5 listing, even though not all details were shared in the process.

The main Galaxy S25 Ultra camera shows itself in the Camera FV-5 listing

The model number in question here is ‘SM-G938U’, which is the same model number as the one that surfaced on the FCC. Only one camera is mentioned in this Camera FV-5 listing, and it seems to be the phone’s main shooter.

A 12.5-megapixel snapper is mentioned here, but that is related to end-result pixel-binned images. Not a single camera on the Galaxy S25 Ultra will actually be a 12.5-megapixel unit. However, the phone’s main 200-megapixel camera is expected to provide 12.5-megapixel images.

Furthermore, the lens aperture mentioned here is f/1.7, which is the same aperture the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s main snapper offers. Not a single other camera on the upcoming phone is expected to offer anything close to an f/1.7 aperture, except the main one.

Camera FV-5 also lists a 23.2mm focal length, EIS stabilization, and 4080 x 3060 image resolution. 1/11,977 – 1/6 manual exposure range is also mentioned, as is 12-3200 ISO range and JPEG/DNG picture formats.

As you can see, these listings are often kind of messy and require a bit of decyphering. The Galaxy S25 Ultra camera details did leak in the past, so we know what to expect, basically.

The device will feature four cameras on the back, and one on the front

The phone is expected to include four rear cameras. A 200-megapixel ISOCELL HP2 main camera is expected to be included, along with a 50-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL JN3 ultrawide camera. A 10-megapixel 3x telephoto camera is tipped, as is a 50-megapixel 5x periscope telephoto unit.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to arrive in January, along with the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+. All three phones are tipped to launch on January 22.
