Nollywood actress, Annie Idibia, has responded to online backlash over her reaction to a post against her colleague, Regina Daniels, amid the marital woes with her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.
Naijaonpoint reports that Ned and Regina’s marital crisis took a new turn on Wednesday, November 12, when the senator’s Moroccan wife, Laila Charani, shared a post detailing her experience with the movie star.
According to Charani, she almost lost her marriage to Nwoko six years ago because Regina introduced her to drugs.
She stated this while reacting to a claim by the actress that she had given her money in the past.
Countering the claim, Laila said she never got money from Regina, adding that both of them should show Nigerians their bank accounts to ‘see who is paying money to their accounts.’
Speaking via Instagram, Laila also said the only reason Regina is fighting their husband is because he wants the actress to stop her alleged “drug and alcohol addiction.”
According to Laila, Ned has always been clear that he would never accept any wife who drinks, smokes or uses drugs as he completely hates such habits.
Surprisingly, 2Baba’s estranged wife, Annie, was spotted among the social media users who liked Charani’s post.
However, many netizens expressed displeasure over Annie’s actions, with many fans of Regina criticising her and recalling how the latter had stood by her following her separation from 2Baba.

Annie emphasised that she is loyal to Regina and will always have her back, no matter what.
She wrote, “In the process of reading the rubbish that was alleged about my baby, Regina, I liked ... mistakenly. Over here, we don’t play with loyalty, and my baby knows I have her back, front and side.
