Manchester United had a really good season. I mean, by their standards they would’ve liked more but a Carabao Cup, top four finish and FA Cup final performance is more than enough to build on for next season.
With the transfer window around the corner, the main talking point for fans will be signings. There are obvious names which are thrown around such as Harry Kane, Mason Mount and Kim Min-Jae. However, what Erik ten Hag will prioritise is making sure his current group of players are happy at the club and prepared to go again next season alongside some new faces.

David de Gea choose Manchester United over Saudi Arabia
One of the players who is always rumoured to be shown the exit door is David de Gea. For years now, clubs such as Real Madrid have been interested in signing him and fans think that this is the transfer window where he finally leaves.
However, he seems to be pretty happy at Old Trafford, particularly after winning last season’s Golden Glove award. And if reports from talkSPORT are anything to go by – he may have won the respect of his teammates and fans.
The report claims that David de Gea is prepared to turn down a lucrative offer from Saudi Arabia in order to stay at Manchester United. By turning down this offer, not only is the Spanish shot-stopper saying no to life-changing money, but he is also choosing the Premier League over one of the fastest growing leagues in the world.
The Saudi Arabian league is home to Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema and soon to be N’Golo Kante. They offer a home to some of the world’s best players and aim to take on the big leagues across Europe. Therefore, it is a bold move but a respectable one by David de Gea, he still has more to win at United.
