Meek Mill is reflecting on one of the toughest periods in his career and the unlikely loyalty that helped him push through it.
Speaking to a Philadelphia crowd alongside Young Thug, the rapper revisited the fallout from his high-profile rap beef with Drake.
At the time, many artists kept their distance. Some refused to contribute verses or hooks, and Meek says the industry treated him like an outsider after his attempt to challenge one of the biggest stars in music.

According to Meek, Young Thug was one of the few who refused to turn his back. He told fans that while he was on house arrest, Thug visited him for two days and helped restore his confidence.
“When I was beefing with Drake, n—as was acting like they were scared to do a verse with me,” he told the audience. “This n—a pulled up to my house while I was on house arrest. Two days straight, [Young Thug] got with me, pulled my confidence right back up.”
The concert also featured a performance of Meek’s hit Dreams And Nightmares, with an ensemble of rappers joining him onstage. Young Thug’s support has extended beyond Meek.
