Michael McIntyre is an English comedian, writer, and television presenter, with an estimated net worth of $80 Million. Michael McIntyre was born in London to Thomas Cameron McIntyre, known as Ray Cameron, a Canadian comedian and comedy writer on British television, and his wife Kati. His mother, Kati, is of Hungarian Jewish ancestry. Michael grew up in the British comedy industry and is a dual British-Canadian citizen, by virtue of his father.
Michael McIntyre began his career making several appearances on BBC One’s Live at the Apollo, in 2007, 2008, and 2009. He then released four DVDs, Live and Laughing, Hello Wembley, Showtime, and Happy and Glorious, which have sold a combined total of over five million copies in the UK.
In June 2009, McIntyre began hosting Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, which aired Saturday nights on BBC One. While still hosting the show, he made an appearance on the BBC show Top Gear, Channel 4’s Comedy Gala, and the 2010 edition of The Big Fat Quiz of the Year on Channel 4.
