Miles Morales receives its first PC promo ahead of its fall launch

Sony has released the first official trailer for the PC version of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, which features some of the in-game scenes players will encounter when the beloved adventure game makes its way to Steam and the Epic Games Store this fall.

The short excerpt from Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales released by the PlayStation channel on YouTube showcases the game’s gorgeous graphics and swinging animation, created for a real-time platformer experience. Nixxes Software, a Dutch game developer known for its excellent work on the PC port of Spider-Man Remastered, is responsible for bringing Miles Morales to the PC platform later this year.

Although released after Insomniac’s Spider-Man, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales follows a stand-alone story unrelated to the original game. Miles Morales takes place between Insomniac’s former Spider-Man, as Miles struggles to maintain his identity as the neighborhood’s friendly superhero against villains like Tinkerer and Prowler. As a spin-off to the main series, it features a unique theme set around Christmas time in New York.

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales was first released on PlayStation in 2020. The award-winning action game tells the story of teen Miles Morales, who is inspired by Peter Parker to take power despite his adolescence. Furthermore, Miles has unique abilities compared to Peter Parker, such as bioelectric attacks, allowing him to create long-range combos. He can also lurk and unleash his inner detective thanks to the power of his cover camouflage.

In reviewing Marvel’s Spider-man: Miles Morales in DualShockers, we said “It’s a worthy follow up to the previous installment, even if much of the core DNA remains the same.” Be sure to wishlist the game on Steam and Epic to receive a notification when it arrives on platforms this fall.
