Nollywood actress Mo Bimpe has kept to her promise of inviting viral market women who rejoiced with her on the birth of her triplets to their thanksgiving.
Kemi Filani reported in May that when Bimpe and Lateef announced their triplets’ birth, a video went viral showing a group of market women celebrating the birth of their triplets.
In the viral clip, the eldérly women were seen dancing excitedly in what appeared to be a market, singing Yoruba gospel songs in appreciation to God for the safe delivery of the babies. The women, who were holding a crate of soft drinks while celebrating, were heard offering prayers and expressing gratitude on behalf of the actress.
Bimpe had reacted to the video, promising to host them at her triplets’ celebration.
The movie star kept to her words, as the market women were in attendance at the strictly by invite event. In a video that made rounds online, the women were spotted at the thanksgiving ceremony wearing the blue asoebi.
Similarly, her husband, Lateef, had received love from market women in Lipede, Abeokuta. In a viral clip, he was serenaded by the market womén and men, who sang and danced.
While speaking after their triplets’ birth, Bimpe, noted how friends, family and even strangers are happy for them. She further noted that some are even crying, leaving her speechless. Bimpe said she was overwhelmed with love and happiness and appreciated them for it.
Lateef had reacted to a strong warning from a man, who advised him to stop allowing people to carry his babies, as they aren’t museum items to be touched. The actor appreciated his words, letting him know that he had taken his advice.
Last year, Bimpe had shared the vile comment a troll left on her page, mocking her for being unable to give birth. The troll called her a barren and wombless woman, and added that only God can repair her womb because it’s not than reconstruction.
Also, last year, year, in an interview with Chude Jideonwo, the talented actor recalled how he proposed to Bimpe on the phone and how she gets trolled online for not giving birth, but remains unfazed.
