THE governor of Bauchi state, Bala Mohammed, and Rivers state governor, Siminalayi Fubara, led the gathering, which took place today in Asaba, the Delta State capital.
The meeting, convened to address the challenges facing the main opposition party, was attended by 11 governors and a deputy governor.
Those present included Bala Mohammed (Bauchi), Siminalayi Fubara (Rivers), Sheriff Oborevwori (Delta), Umo Eno (Akwa Ibom), Caleb Mutfwang (Plateau), Agbu Kefas (Taraba), Dauda Lawal (Zamfara), Ademola Adeleke (Osun), Duoye Diri (Bayelsa), Peter Mbah (Enugu), Ahmed Fintiri (Adamawa), and Oyo State Deputy Governor, Bayo Lawal.
The governor of Delta state, Sheriff Oborevwori, warmly received his colleagues, who were notably dressed in the traditional attire of the South-South region.
