In the wake of Monster Hunter Wilds‘s latest Festival of Accord: Dreamspell update, Capcom has re-introduced a previously available Support Hunter for a limited time once more for the duration of the event. Given how many players are still struggling to beat Omega Planetes for the first time or farm for its savage rewards, the limited event is a perfect opportunity to farm for any rewards you’re still missing out on.
Announced through the official Monster Hunter X account, Fabius, the previous Ace Lancer and now leader of the Hunter’s Guild in Monster Hunter Wilds, will once again be selectable as a Support Hunter to bring into missions. Even if Support Hunters aren’t able to fully replace a well-coordinated team of players, it can still provide a massive benefit if you lack a full group of four players to hunt with.
The Support Hunter Fabius Is The Perfect Hunting Companion
Capcom’s Helping Hand To Beat Wilds’ Toughest Challenges
Now that Monster Hunter Wilds has started to introduce some of its more absurdly difficult hunts and other end-game content ahead of its Master Rank DLC, Support Hunters like Fabius can make a massive difference in your day-to-day hunting experience. Equipped with a defensive lance and powerful presence, Fabius is also especially great when facing monsters with large sweeping attacks or aggressive attack patterns.
If you haven’t had a chance to collect all the Final Fantasy event quest rewards yet, bringing Fabius alongside other Support Hunters with defensive capabilities like Kai, Allessa, or Mina makes a great foundation for a powerful NPC team. Unfortunately, Fabius will once again be leaving Monster Hunter Wilds when the Dreamspell Festival of Accord ends on November 11, only to return during the next seasonal event.
Wilds’ Dreamspell Festival Lets You Catch Up On Missed Rewards
Bringing Back Access To All Of Monster Hunter Wilds’ Event Quests
Most of Monster Hunter Wilds‘ limited Dreamspell Festival rewards are obtained through daily logins and bounties rather than individual event quest farming. This makes it the perfect chance to use any spare time grinding away at harder Arch-Tempered monsters like the recently released AT Nu Udra, or finally taking down Omega Planetes for yourself.
The Dreamspell Festival of Accord also once again brings back every single one of Monster Hunter Wilds‘ past event quests until November 11, allowing you to catch up on any exclusive cosmetics, armor, or weapons that you may have missed out on over the past year.
Unfortunately, you won’t be able to unlock any event-exclusive rewards obtained through daily login tickets like the Blosomdance or Afi armor sets. However, you can still grind away for almost every limited reward Monster Hunter Wilds has to offer during this seasonal festival, which is made even easier by bringing powerful Support Hunters like Fabius.
