Nigerian music star Tosin Ajibade, better known as Mr Eazi, has reacted to an X user’s claims that his wedding to Temi Otedola was funded by music money.

Kemi Filani reported earlier this month that Mr Eazi and billionaire businessman Femi Otedola’s daughter, Temi, had tied the knot in a private wedding ceremony in Hallgrimskirkja Church, Reykjavik, Iceland. The wedding, which was a private affair, was attended by Temi’s siblings and parents, businessman Aliko Dangote, comedian Brodashaggi and others.

Following his wedding, Eazi released a new single, Casanova, on streaming platforms.

Reacting to it, an X user noted how he is trying to recover the money he spent on his wedding.

“Mr Eazi wan low-key raise money wey him spend for that wedding”.

Responding to him, Eazi questioned if he thinks music can pay for his wedding.

“U think sey music go fit pay for that wedding my G? Lol”.

Refreshing your memory, Mr Eazi engaged his longtime lover, Temi Otedola, on Sunday, April 10, 2022. Speaking on why she accepted his proposal, Temi said she felt a sense of peace with him, like she had found her soulmate, and she had never felt it with anyone else.

The couple revealed, in an interview, that they would love to have only family members attend their wedding, with no more than ten people.

Mr Eazi, in 2023, confirmed that they were married as he debunked reports of keeping their marriage/wedding secret. He said the Music video of his song, ‘Legalise’, was the footage of their wedding in Venice and was proof that he didn’t keep his wedding secret. He stated that their outfits in the video weren’t just costumes, as he urged people to rewatch the video.
