The governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Ganduje, has warned the earlier Secretary to the Government of the Federation(SGF), Babachir Lawal, to take heed to his phrases regarding the All Progressive Congress (APC), fielding a Muslim-Muslim ticket for the 2023 presidential election.
According to the report by Daily Post, Ganduje had accused Lawal of rolling out false statements on the selection of the APC presidential flag bearer, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to decide on Kashim Shettima, as his working mate for the presidential election of 2023.
Lawal who was sad with the selection had drawn a connection between Ganduje and Tinubu to Islamise Nigeria if the latter wins the 2023 presidential election.
In response to Lawal’s utterances, Ganduje accused the earlier SGF of spreading intolerance at a time the nation is in demand of oneness.
